Skool, here I come! *ahem* So, calling all cars, calling all cars, if anybody out there happens to know of any good books on language and metaphor (besides Sapir-Whorf) puhleez lemme know - I'm going to do a contrastive analysis of selected insult metaphors in Arabic, Farsi and Urdu. I need to go hunt down references on Urdu and Farsi linguistics, metaphor and insults. Oh, and methodology for figuring out same - time to go email like a madwoman! W00T!
